Google API Data Usage
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This page describes exactly how Networking Plus accesses and uses Google account data when you choose to connect Google — and how you stay in control.
Introduction
This page explains how Networking Plus ("we", "us", "our") accesses and uses data from Google APIs when you choose to connect a Google account. Networking Plus is developed and operated by Kreative Madari Pvt Ltd, based in Kolkata, India.
Connecting Google is entirely optional. If you never connect a Google account, none of the access described here applies to you.
Google Services Used
Where you choose to enable them, Networking Plus works with Google Sign-In (to identify your Google account), Google Drive and Google Sheets (to export your contacts), and Google Calendar (to create reminder events).
Each of these is used only to provide the specific feature you ask for.
Google Account Information
When you connect Google, we receive basic profile information — such as your Google email address and name — to authenticate the connection and link it to your Networking Plus account.
We do not use this information to build an advertising profile.
Google API Scopes
Sign-in: openid, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email, and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile — used only to identify and connect your Google account.
Google Drive: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — a per-file scope limited to files the application creates or that you open with it. It does not grant access to your other Drive files.
Google Calendar: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — used only to add or update the reminder events you ask us to create.
We request only the scopes needed for the features you use, and we do not request broad access to read or modify your entire Google Drive.
Google Sheets Usage
When you ask to export contacts to Google Sheets, we create a spreadsheet in your Google Drive and write your exported data into it.
This is done through the drive.file scope above, which limits our access to the files the application creates for you — not to spreadsheets or files you created separately.
Google Drive Usage
Our Google Drive access is limited to the drive.file scope, meaning we can work only with the specific files the application creates or that you explicitly open with it.
We do not list, read, or modify the other files already in your Google Drive.
Google Calendar Usage
When you ask Networking Plus to set a reminder as a calendar event, we use the calendar.events scope to create or update that event in your Google Calendar.
We use this only to manage the reminder events tied to the follow-ups you set.
How Google Data Is Used
We use Google data only to provide the user-facing features you request — signing in, exporting to Google Sheets, and creating calendar reminders.
We do not use Google data for advertising, and we do not use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
How Google Data Is Stored
We store the authorization tokens needed to keep your chosen Google features working, along with limited information about the connection (such as which features you enabled).
The content exported to Google Sheets or created in Google Calendar lives in your own Google account, under your control.
Prohibition on Selling Google Data
We do not sell your Google data, and we never will.
Human Access to Google Data
We do not allow humans to read your Google data except in the limited circumstances permitted by Google's policies — for example, with your explicit consent (such as when you ask us for support), where necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), or to comply with applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain Google authorization tokens and connection details only for as long as your Google connection is active or as needed to provide the features you use.
When you disconnect Google or delete your account, we remove the stored authorization for your Google connection, subject to limited records we may be required to keep by law.
Disconnecting Google
You can disconnect your Google account from Networking Plus at any time from within the product. Disconnecting stops future use of your Google data by the features you had enabled.
Revoking Access
You can also review and revoke the access you have granted to Networking Plus directly from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
After you revoke access, features such as exporting to Google Sheets or adding calendar reminders will stop working until you reconnect.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Limited Use Requirements
Consistent with Google's Limited Use requirements, we use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features you request; we do not transfer it except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate protections; we do not use it for advertising; and we do not allow humans to read it except in the limited cases described above.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the Google authorization data we hold, and we rely on secure, encrypted connections when communicating with Google's APIs.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your Google connection in line with our Data & Security Policy.
Policy Updates
We may update this page from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
