Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what data Networking Plus collects, how we use and share it, and the control you have over it.

Introduction

Networking Plus is a WhatsApp-based service that scans business cards and other documents, extracts the contact details, and helps you organize, remember, and follow up with the people you meet. It is developed and operated by Kreative Madari Pvt Ltd, based in Kolkata, India ("we", "us", "our").

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Networking Plus, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account details: the WhatsApp phone number you contact us from, your name (if you provide it), and your email address (if you register for a web account or a paid plan).

Business cards and documents: the images of business cards, brochures, and other documents you send to us for processing.

Extracted contact information: the details our processing extracts from those images — such as names, job titles, company names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, and websites.

Content you create: notes, tags, reminders, saved searches, and any information you add to your contacts or to your digital profile.

Payment and billing information: when you buy a paid plan, our payment provider processes your payment and shares limited billing details with us (such as the transaction status and an invoice reference). We do not receive or store your full card, UPI, or bank details.

Usage and technical data: basic technical and interaction information — for example, the features you use, timestamps, and diagnostic logs — which helps us operate, secure, and improve the service.

Google account data: if, and only if, you choose to connect a Google account, we receive the information described in the Google sections below.

How We Use Information

To provide the service: reading the cards and documents you send, extracting and organizing contacts, setting reminders, enabling search, building your digital profile, and exporting your data when you ask us to.

To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the product — including improving the accuracy of our contact-extraction (OCR/AI) processing.

To process payments and manage your subscription, invoices, and support requests.

To send you service-related messages on WhatsApp, such as the reminders you set. We do not send marketing messages without your consent.

To comply with our legal obligations, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.

WhatsApp and Messaging Data

The service runs on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta. When you message our WhatsApp number, we receive the text, images, and documents you send so that we can provide the features you request.

Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, which are separate from this policy.

We use WhatsApp to send you service messages — for example, confirmations and reminders you have set. You can stop messaging us at any time.

Business Cards, Documents and Extracted Contact Data

When you send a business card or document, you are asking us to process it on your behalf. We use a third-party optical-character-recognition (OCR) and AI service to read the image and extract structured contact details, which we then store in your account so you can search and manage them.

When you scan someone else's card, you are responsible for having a proper, lawful reason to collect and store their details and for using them lawfully — for example, not sending unsolicited or spam messages.

We process the contacts you upload only to provide the service to you. We do not use the contacts you upload for our own marketing.

You can edit or delete cards, documents, and extracted contacts from your account, and you can ask us to delete them (see Data Deletion Requests below).

Google Account and API Data

Connecting a Google account is completely optional. Google features are available only if you choose to enable them, and we access your Google data only after you grant explicit permission through Google's standard OAuth consent screen.

When you connect Google, we receive basic profile information (such as your Google email address and name) to authenticate the connection, together with the specific access you approve for the feature you are using.

We use your Google data only to provide the functionality you request. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. For the full disclosure, see our Google API Data Usage page.

Google Scopes and Feature Usage

Sign-in (openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile): used only to identify your Google account and connect it to your Networking Plus account.

Google Drive — file access (drive.file): used only to create and manage the specific spreadsheets and files that Networking Plus generates for your exports. This scope does not give us access to the other files already in your Google Drive.

Google Calendar — events (calendar.events): used only to add or update the reminder events you ask Networking Plus to create.

We provide Google Sheets exports by creating spreadsheets through the Drive file scope above. We do not request broad permission to read or modify unrelated Drive files.

Payments and Subscription Information

Paid plans are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment provider. Your payment is handled on Razorpay's systems under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full card, UPI, or bank details.

We keep records of your transactions, invoices, and plan status so that we can provide the paid service, issue receipts, offer support, and meet tax and accounting requirements.

Data Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal data.

We share information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations: cloud hosting and storage (Microsoft Azure), our OCR/AI contact-extraction processing, and payment processing (Razorpay).

If you connect Google, we exchange data with Google only to perform the sign-in, export, or calendar actions you request.

We may disclose information where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or our service.

If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or take steps to anonymize it. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. The service is hosted on Microsoft Azure, and we use access controls to limit who can reach your data.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us right away.

For more detail on how we store and safeguard your data, see our Data & Security Policy.

User Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you can access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, request a copy, ask us to delete it, or ask us to restrict or stop certain processing.

If you are in India, these rights are provided in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@networkingplus.ai or message us on WhatsApp, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Google Account Disconnection and Revocation

You can disconnect your Google account from Networking Plus at any time from within the product.

You can also review and revoke the access you have granted to Networking Plus directly from your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Revoking access stops any further use of your Google data. Some features — such as exporting to Google Sheets or adding calendar reminders — will no longer work until you reconnect.

Data Deletion Requests

You can ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it at any time by emailing support@networkingplus.ai or messaging us on WhatsApp.

When you request deletion, we remove your account data and the cards, documents, and extracted contacts stored for you, except for limited information we are required to retain for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

For the full process and what to expect, see our Account & Data Deletion page.

Cookies and Technical Data

The core Networking Plus experience runs on WhatsApp and does not rely on browser cookies.

Where you use our website or web dashboard — for example, to sign in or manage a paid plan — we may use essential cookies needed for login and security, along with limited technical data to keep those pages working reliably. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.

Children's Privacy

Networking Plus is a professional networking tool intended for business users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the service or to legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and take reasonable steps to notify you of significant changes.

We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
